2023 is shaping up to be the best year ever!
We took a little longer than usual to start booking for 2023 but we are excited to announce our trip schedules and pricing and will be starting to contact everyone and sending invoices beginning next Wednesday, Oct 19. Normally by this time we would be about 80% full however this year there were some very important details to iron out before we started confirming dates.

Everyone loved the new lodge and I’m glad to say that things are going very well with the negotiations to purchase the lodge and keep it in Kyuquot year round.
For our fly in guests, our changeover days had to move to Mondays and Fridays (from Sundays and Wednesdays) so that we could keep the same departure times and have 3 caravans instead of 2. Thanks so much to Seair for juggling things around to accommodate us! Soooooo, that changes all the trip dates over the summer. It is all listed on our website now including the updated pricing.
We were forced to raise pricing due to the crazy costs of fuel (both gas and diesel) that affect our operations in every aspect of the experience, from supply chain to boat gas, to generator diesel, to food costs, you name it it has gone up considerably since we had determined our pricing in 2022. We did not pass any of those costs on to our customers last year but if we wish to stay in business, we need to reflect those costs in 2023.

This is important…..one thing everyone will see on their invoice this year is a $75 fuel surcharge as fuel prices are so volatile and out of control right now. We can’t have the same thing happen that happened last year. That said, this surcharge is under the caveat that should fuel prices drop below $2.00/litre for both gas and diesel (Fair Harbour pricing), when you are at the lodge, we will offer each guest the ability to recoup that surcharge through a lodge credit at the bar or store.
